Trick or Treat?

No tricks with these two…they’re all about the treats! I took these weeks ago, the night I bought the costumes. Finally had time to get them online.

A lovely and FUN couple! It was a great day and here are a few sneak-peeks of their wedding day! I think this is the fastest I’ve ever done a sneak peek - and not a better time than with the new blog interface that allows BIG images!!

What happens to your images?

For Portraiture Clients: It is policy of Michelle Misner Photography to archive your files for future ordering. All presented images are available for order for 60 days after your session date. After that, only poses that are ordered will be kept on file for one year after your session date. After one year, files will be purged from hard drive storage and will no longer be available for order. At this time, high resolution digital files suitable for printing are only available for purchase as a package. No exceptions.

For Wedding Clients: It is policy of Michelle Misner Photography to archive your files for future ordering. All presented images are available for order for one year after your wedding date. After that, all files will be purged from hard drive storage and will be available for at least two years. Subsequent orders after a year from the wedding date are subject to a $50 retrieval fee. No exceptions.

Copyright Reminder…

Just a reminder…it is illegal (and not nice!) to reproduce professional photographs. Some people mistakenly think that it’s fine to copy a print once they have paid for it, or that copying is permissible if they don’t plan to sell the image. Both are false.

Copying images without the artist’s permission is illegal and punishable by up to a $150,000 fine. Scanning, emailing or making copies at a copy center or at home are all illegal.

Professional portraits are not required to have a stamp or copyright notation to indicate copyright, although this is indicated on the back of many prints. It is understandable that you love your images and want to share them. That means the photographer did their job well and should be fairly compensated for their hard work.

I go to great lengths and expense to use only the best equipment and professional photo finishing services to create a top-quality product. Scans create embarrassingly low-quality images that can unfairly harm a photographer’s reputation.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who copies my work without permission. Copyright violations will be prosecuted.

Wedding Sneak Peek

I had the priviledge of photographing Jessica and Jonathan’s wedding on September 20th. Here is a sneak peek of a photo Jessica especially wanted taken.

The rest is coming soon, guys! I hope you had a great honeymoon!

I’ve been tagged again!

My colleague, Michele Calderon, has blog-tagged me, so here I go….

RULES:
1. Link the person who tagged you
2. Mention the rules on your blog
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them ; leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they have been tagged.

1. I love hot dogs charred on the grill. I’ll take the darkest, most gnarled hot dog on the grill. LOL They just taste better!

2. I’m a neat freak everywhere but in my own home. Not sure what it is - whether it’s just manners or neuroses - but I am an organized mess at home.

3. I’ve become a television junkie. If it weren’t for my DVR, I’d go nuts!

4. Since having children, I have become a complete scatterbrain. I have a planning calendar in three places - one on paper at home, one on the computer and all of it synced up to my cell phone. If it’s not on there, consider it forgotten!

5. I only made it one semester at a University. School has just never been for me…even when I wanted it to be.

6. Once 8:30 PM hits, I’m ready for bed. Weekends I can stay up, but it’s hard during the week. I usually end up sleeping through something my husband wanted to watch with me.

OK - now to tag 6 other unsuspecting photographers:

Anne Dillon
Heidi Smith
Kris Evans
Nicci Derry
Tina Delauter
Lisa Baker
